At The Roseland Homeplace

 
This sand rock chair was made by Mr. Briggs from which my mama & daddy bought their Sandhills farm in the early 1950's, & the tiny red cabin on it. Mama named the farm SAND ROCK ACRES. Years later, when I was 12, we moved into our newly built brick ranch located up the hill & closer to the road. Using his tractor, Daddy towed the chair up to the front yard of our new house.
A unique piece of outdoor furniture--guess you'd say it's "shabby-chic":)
